Aim/s
- To act out a dialogue in pairs.
- To analyze, identify, plan and produce different types of text.
- To identify, learn and use the grammar rules and structures correctly.
- To learn and understand the target vocabulary of the school.
- To tell time correctly in English.
- To use and develop learning strategies and ICT resources to gain and present information.

-  Developing new learning strategies to search for information about the capital city of Ireland using the Internet.

-  Reading and comprehension exercises based on school life, timetables, activities, IT and blogs and websites.

-  Speaking and conversation
-  Conversation models based on talking about school life.
-  Preparation of questions and practice dialogues about school routines and life.
-  Pair work to practice prompted dialogues.

-  Writing
-  Writing a short article about their school based on a model.

Timing
3 Sessions (Each has a duration of 55 minutes).

- Laptop computer (one for each student).
- Digital Blackboard.
- Student's book (if required).
- Digital camera.

Description/
Activities
a) Each student, takes a photo of the classmate he or she likes appears and does a task about school.

b) Later, he/she must write what action was performed in each picture (look fist annex), using a Word Processor such as Open Office, 

c) Next, write a short composition about school life (timetable, routines, etc.).

d) Finally, each pupil uploads his/her homework to the Blog (Educational Chronicles; see that URL).

Evaluation Criteria.

- Can talk and ask questions about timetables, school life and everyday routines.

- Is capable of acting out a dialogue with a partner about school life.

- Is capable of planning and writing a prospectus and an article based on a model using the correct target language.

- Takes care with the presentation of written work and uses the correct punctuation and spelling.

- Can use the object pronouns correctly.

- Can identify and use prepositions of time and can and can’t correctly.

- Can tell time correctly in English.

- To understand and use correctly the target vocabulary of the unit (school subjects and timetables, days of the week, activities and time).

- Is capable of learning new strategies to improve their learning and ITC resources to gather, organize and present information.

- Is capable of using IT to make their own blog.
